Read this one before your first summon. It is built around the two decisions beginners get wrong: spending rare materials on an Epic evolution, and burning rerolls on a target the published odds say is out of reach.

Your first decisions: which codes to redeem immediately, why Cataclysm is a cheaper first evolution than Flame Director, and why Fortune is a realistic first Trait target.

Roadmap

The recommended reading path

STAGE 1

Codes & first spins

Redeem the level-gated codes early, then spend the first Lucky Spins on Mythic rather than banking them for Epics.

STAGE 2

Farm chapters

Story Chapter 1 on Easy and Medium banks the materials for your first evolution. Fine Cloth drops everywhere, so raid materials are the real gate.

STAGE 3

Evolve & reroll

Evolution unlocks the ultimate, which is the largest power spike in the game. Then reroll a Trait toward Fortune before chasing Deadeye.

STAGE 4

Push Nightmare

Nightmare unlocks the Spirit’s Bathtub raid and the LYTH Paramita Pyre at 2% with a 35-run pity. Work up through Hard first.

Follow the path in order, because each stage assumes the weapons and materials banked in the previous one. Skipping ahead usually means farming the same chapter twice.

How the guides are sourced

Each guide lists its reference sources, and every source is labelled by real identity. Roblox pages and the developer group are official; the tier lists, raid guides and beginner write-ups are independent publications, so they are presented as cross-checks rather than as announcements. Anime Zero is still in active development per its developer, so a recommendation can stop matching your version — when that happens, trust the in-game numbers over the guide.

Common questions

FAQ

Where should a new Anime Zero player start?

Start with the beginner guide. It covers the first decisions that shape an account: redeeming the level-gated codes before you need them, spending Lucky Spins on Mythic rather than Epic, evolving Cataclysm before Flame Director, and rerolling toward Fortune before chasing the 0.01% Traits.

What order should I learn Anime Zero systems in?

Spins define your two equipped weapons, the Story chapters supply the evolution materials, Evolution unlocks the ultimate skill, Traits add a passive layer and the Skill Tree adds permanent stats. The hub follows that order, because each step is wasted without the previous one.

Do the Anime Zero guides cover Update 1?

Yes. Update 1 of October 4, 2026 added Unit Storage, the Keep Traits list and the Spirit’s Bathtub raid, and changed the top rarity label from Zenless to LYTH. The dated patch record is on the updates page, and the guides are written against that state.

Are the Anime Zero guides dated?

Each page carries a visible last-verified date taken from the underlying data files rather than from the day the page rendered. When a patch changes a number the guides depend on, the affected values are re-checked against the sources listed at the bottom of each page.

Which guide should I read before my first Nightmare run?

The how-to-play page for the difficulty structure and the first-hour page for the opening route. Nightmare raises enemy stats across the board, and it is also the gate on the Spirit’s Bathtub raid, so the safer order is Easy, then Medium, then Hard, then Nightmare.

Is there a guide for reroll and spin odds?

The traits page explains the reroll system and lists all 18 published roll rates, while the weapons page covers the summon pity floors — 175 for Mythic, 350 for Arcane and 3,500 for LYTH. The calculator turns both into a hit chance for a budget you actually hold.
